CARITAS Children’s Christmas List
November 20, 2018

CARITAS is Richmond’s largest emergency shelter, sheltering up to 110 people per night, and over 1,000 people annually.

A generous mother/son duo from Harpers Mill, Teo and his mom Bonnie, have taken it upon themselves to host a holiday pizza party for the homeless children (ages 1 – 18) and their families for the past several years. They also make a bag for each child stuffed with items they need. Harpers Mill will be collecting items for Teo and his mom Bonnie to bring to the children in need at CARITAS again this Christmas. If you would like to volunteer to help make sugar cookies or ginger bread cookies please contact Bonnie at [email protected] Your donations can be dropped off at the Welcome Center at Harpers Mill from now through December 16th between the hours of noon – 5pm every day.
