Vernon McClure founded Main Street Homes in 1996 with one goal in mind- to Build New Homes with Quality and Style. Since then, Main Street Homes has grown to become one of the largest locally owned and operated new homebuilders in the area.

In 2017, 2018 and 2019, Main Street Homes won Best Homebuilder for the Richmond Times-Dispatch “The Best” Contest.  Main Street Homes has also been recognized as an Energy Star Partner of the Year, a national award given by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA),  and have been an Energy Star Market Leader for over 5 years. They have won multiple awards for Homebuilder of the Year, as well as, over 120 Parade of Homes Awards given by the Home Building Association of Richmond. Additionally, they have been named Top Builder in Builder Magazine!
