Harpers Mill Fall Fest 2021
Harpers Mill hosted their annual Fall Festival in mid October for the 70th Anniversary of the Parade of Homes. Even though we’re still in a pandemic, things felt a little more normal. Thousands of people came out to enjoy the beautiful weather, live music, petting zoo, and more. All the model homes were open and people could tour them during our event!
The children had fun picking out their own pumpkin and decorating it with silly face stickers. They could also play on the multiple bounce houses, including the Eliminator; a bounce house with a moving arm that can knock you off your spot!! Additionally, there were lot of animals to pet and love on in the petting zoo. Jeff Mayer, a local author of the book The Little Green Pumpkin, was out reading his book and signing copies for everyone!
The adults were able to get beer from the beer truck with all proceeds going to support the Harpers Mill Manta Rays; our neighborhood swim team. They could eat from a variety of food trucks which included Arroz, Curry in a Hurry, Speedy Pops, and Westray’s Ice Cream or enjoy some of the greatest hits in music history played by R.T.C. Cover Band.
It was a gorgeous day and the perfect day to come out and enjoy what Harpers Mill has to offer!
